A. The standards that apply to signature usage were created to maximize our communications effectiveness. These rules are
mandatory and should be strictly adhered to with very few exceptions. If you feel you must use any of the
signatures in away not specified in this manual, the Con‑way Marketing Departmentmust first be contacted

A. The application of a signature should be performed by someone who has been authorized to do
so and has been provided with reproduction artwork in digital form. This artwork has been prepared to
the exact specifications in this manual and should be applied without any alteration or modification. << Close
A. No. Use of "secondary identifiers" and distortion of the logo are not authorized, because they create confusion on the part of our
customers and dilute the strength of the signature. Such usage may also jeopardize our legal usage rights. Signature configurations and spatial
relationships must be consistent, and the signature must be distinct from surrounding text and graphics. << Close
A. It is not only necessary, it is also to your benefit to discuss your communications ideas with the Con‑way Marketing Department.
It ensures we avoid duplication of effort, exercise budget and quality control, meet legal requirements, and maintain the

quickly as possible. Upon receipt, you should replace the outdated manual and implement any newguidelines as quickly as possible.
