Brand Stripe Violations
As a dominant element in Con‑way’s brand identity, the Brand Stripe must be used consistently across all applications.
The power of the Con‑way brand is easily lessened by misuse of its Brand Stripe. We can steer clear of this problem by avoiding instances of poor or incorrect use. The following are some examples of unacceptable uses of the Con‑way Brand Stripe in printed communications.
Do not crop the Brand Stripe short of either side of the page.
Do not use the Brand Stripe at a size larger or smaller than dictated.
Do not omit, or add, bands of color.
Do not change the orientation of the Brand Stripe.
Do not distort the Brand Stripe. (Truckload vehicle signage is the only acceptable exception to this rule.)
Do not change any colors within the Brand Stripe.
Do not interrupt the Brand Stripe with other elements.
Do not use screens of the colors within the Brand Stripe.
Avoid reversing text out of the Brand Stripe.
Do not display the Brand Stripe vertically.
