Brand Stripe

The Brand Stripe incorporates Con‑way’s primary color palette into a series of color layers. Each layer represents a different level, or aspect, of Con‑way service.

Consequently, the Brand Stripe is symbolic of the entire Con‑way enterprise and is used on all vehicles and in all marketing communications.

The relative heights of the layers within the Brand Stripe are not changeable and must be reproduced exactly as shown here.

The Con‑way Brand Stripe is available as approved electronic artwork from the Con‑way Marketing Department.

a Advertising

The Brand Stripe must be displayed across the bottom of Con-way advertising. Because accuracy of a publication trim can vary, a 1/2-inch-tall Brand Stripe must be placed 5/16 inch above the trim.

One exception is in black and white newspaper ads, where the Brand Stripe should not be used because the colors do not appear clearly on black and white newsprint.

Brochures and Other Bleed Applications

Displayed across the bottom of brochures, the Brand Stripe bleeds off the bottom trim. Special artwork has been created that includes an additional 1/32 inch on the bottom band, and necessary bleed.

Other Applications

For posters, banners and other oversized items, the Brand Stripe should be sized to a height equal to between 5% and 10% of the total height of the item.

For example, if a poster is 24 inches high, the minimum height for the Brand Stripe is 1.2 inches high, the maximum height, 2.4 inches. The actual percentage used is at the designer’s discretion and should result in a Brand Stripe that balances well with the other layout elements and the item's overall design.

For items smaller than a standard 8-1/2 x 11 inch sheet, the height of the Brand Stripe should not exceed 1/2 inch, nor be smaller than 3/8 inch in height.

For Web favicons, the Brand Stripe may be sized at 17 x 17 pixels to fit the space and application. Click here to download the approved Con-way favicon.

In all cases, the Brand Stripe must extend the width of the item, bleeding off two sides.
